Ready to pop????????????

This photo was taken yesterday at 38 weeks exactly. I am starting to wondering when I am going to have this baby. How is it going to happen and whether if it will happen at all. I have been hearing horrible stories about people not dilating at all, birth complications and the rest. I think I should just try to not know too much. I really don't look too huge and have a nice shape of my bump but this is my biggest I have ever been, the biggest third time round and baby too. Very uncomfortable since it is my third. I am hoping this lovely photo will be my last and I will have a new baby in my arms soon!!

Silly Photos

I don't know what's up with Lara but she is really into taking photos lately which is great for me! I don't know if parent feel the same but the kids go through stages where they don't like to be photo graphed let along saying, "mum take a picture of me!!!" I was camera ready and very excited about what photos we will
be taking with her directing us!

Wild life park

Being at the last stage of the pregnancy can make you want to do crazy things. One of them is to catch the bus because I still have 7 rides left on my bus tickets and I want to use it up before I have the baby??? We ended up walking for about 5-6 hours that day at darling habour, market city, paddy's market, china town and went to the wild life park. Wow that is a lot on two parents who were sick and one of them is pregnant. It was a great sunny day and a lot of effort to went to all the places we did. Oh well, that is the whole point that we have done it and not missing out.

The girls had a great time in general, they have always loved the animals. The wild life park was very well set up, it was lovely. We had a good time. I was glad that we got to go to it before we move to Darwin!

swing

Emmeline and Lara loves to twist the strings of the swing at our back yard. They don't seem to get dizzy at all which I was amazed. Watching them spin make me dizzy. They seemed to have a great time!!

Taronga Zoo

Here we come Taronga Zoo! It was a great, 'FREEZING' day to go to the zoo. I knew it was going to be hard work but I didn't realise we could be walking there for 6 hours!!!!! I was pretty tired but I pushed on because it was a great zoo and I have never seen anything as organised and nice as the Taronga Zoo. Lara was a great walker and she walked for hours without a nap. Good on her. Reed was great too pushing the pram the whole time. The animals there were just incredible, and the whole zoo was very nicely designed, well for $40 per adult you expect that!! It did make me wonder why we didn't go earlier and have to wait until I was in my last few months of pregnancy??@#!$#% Anyway, we had an awesome time and it was nice to go before we have baby. Anyone wants to take a new born for 6 hour walk? I don't think so!!!

Feeding birds

We were at the Centennial Park with our friends Tamara, Mia and Tiago. We had a good time feeding the birds and ducks. I love birds so I am not so worried, the girls need a bit of warming up to! It was pretty cool if you just hold bread in your hands the birds would fly up and rest on your hands, very cleaver, we had a great time and it was nice to be a brilliant day to have the kids run around crazy!

Who says you have to sleep in the bed???

Who says we have to sleep in the bed? I have to wake Emmeline up because she fell asleep around 5pm, noooo!!! If she sleeps then I won't be able to get her to sleep at 6:30pm! So I woke her up and started a bath. While I went down stairs to check on dinner, this is what I found..... Emmeline sleep on the floor. How funny!!! She is the only person in the family who can sleep standing up, sleep through any noise or even sleep in the shopping trolley sitting up. Amazing!

Melbourne Temple

We have not return to the Melbourne Temple since Christmas, it was nice to be able to take the kids and have have them run around it. It was exciting for Emmeline since the last two years every time we had a chance to go and play at the temple grounds she happened to be asleep every time we pull up at the temple. It was nice that she is awake this time round!!! We had a great time and we shall visit again this Christmas! xoxo
