Leigh Dalman's 30th - 24th May 2008

My lovely friend Alex came down for her Husband Leigh's 30th, it was a wonderful surprise, he had no idea! She did a great job. It was really great to see them and their little man Joshua.

We were at Bunnings getting a few things to do our new garden, there is a huge playground and it was the first time Lara was able to enjoy the WHOLE thing! She was running wild! Watch her coming down the slide!

Teaching Lara to say "APPLE" - 23rd May 2008

I have been trying to encourage Lara to say "mummy", "daddy", "apple", "dog", "cat", "baby" properly. My favorite word is APPLE because she never say anything that sounds like it.... check it out on the video!!

New Barbie Doll - 21st May 2008

This is Lara's first Barbie doll, she is very excited to take her for a ride!

Baby in baby's pram? - 19th May 2008

Lara 'somehow' got inside her baby's pram. It was real fun to watch and dangerous too. She actually did fall off it but she was fine. =)

River Dinner Cruise - 17th May 2008

We had the opportunity to go on a river cruise and had a great night. The cruise is around 3.5 hours with all night of entertainment and and 3 course meal. It was lovely, it was also very cold!
It was nice to spend together without Lara.

Carrying 12 hello kittys - 14th May 2008

Lara LOVES carrying thing around her wrists, never thought she would carry 12 hello kitties all in one go!

Mothers Day - 11th May 2008

My beautiful husband bought me a forever bear card. I LOVEEEE FOREVER BEARS. They are the best. Without fail I always get people forever bear cards. He wrote really nice words too. It was a great monthers day. Reed also bought me pink m&m chocolates. Very sweet. =)

Lara made me a lovely heart shape biscuit and she iced it herself. Very cute. Good job Lara!

Bubbles and swing day - 12th May 2008

Bubble time!


We had the bubble machine for awhile now. I think we bought it because "I" loved it soooo much. Lara really only just started to enjoy it. She will try to catch the bubbles now.

Reed really liked the kids swings so we got one. Lara loves it and especially when she take her baby or a ride too.

I love ABC Kids - 7th May 2008

Lara gets up at 3pm in the afternoon and guess what time as it????!!! It's playschool on!! We love playschool. I really enjoy it too. Hi-5 wasn't bad either. These are shots of her enjoying her playschool time.

Meeting farm animals - 6th May 2008

We attended a special fay organised by playgroup, we went along to the local primary school to see the farm animals! I think I had a lot more fun than Lara, must be all the kids around her that confused her. But it was still a good experience for her. She was up and personal with lots of animals. My favorites were the pigs and the mouse. They are so cute!

Family swim - 5th May 2008

This is the first time Reed come swimming with Lara and I. Lara and I try to go once a week. She has really improved the last 6 months. Now she just jumps off or goes under water with out feeling scared. It was really fun.

Have to get a underwater camera! It is great! We really loved it. Look at her holding her breath!

We had so much fun, that I have included a lot of videos of what we did. There are videos of Lara floating, jumping off the sides, swimming underwater and a few 'scary' moments. =)

Natonal playgroup day - 30th April 2008

We went to the national playgroup day and had lots of fun at this huge sand pit with toys. Lara really didn't know what to do at first. Didn't really want to get in. I found some buckets and showed her to shuffle sand in it. Then she snatched it and got into the sand pit. That was quick!

Reading with daddy - 26th April 2008

Reed and I read to Lara before has her afternoon nap and night sleep. It is always fun until she tries to tear the pages of just turn pages without finishing the story. Oh well. We find she loves interactive books at the moment, books that have flips and folds or make monster or animal noises.

Rebecca's wedding - 19th April 2008

Cutting cake, it was a beautiful cakeThey had lessons for this! That would be something I would like to do and persuade Reed to do it with meRebecca is a friend of mine from RMIT. Her and Harley has been dating since 2001. A long time. They are just perfect for each other. They both have achieved a lot in Uni and work and travelled to many places together. It was a honor to be there consider I haven't really quite kept in touch with her. It was great to see her in her wedding dress and looking stunning.
