Montana turned one! We went to her birthday party and it was just awesome to see Lee and Brooke, since they moved back to Moe, we don't get to see them very often.
We had a red back spider in our back yard! - 17th January 2008
Awesome night at the Greek Restaurant - 11th January 2008
We had such a great time at the Greek Restaurant! I have to say Reed and I were so out of it that we were glad to just sit there and eat and watch the others dance. It was great fun.
Mary and Micha Pollard - 7th January 2008
My good friend Mary came to Melbourne for Christmas and January, it was wonderful to see her and her new baba Micah. He is very cute, looks just like her mummy and daddy. It was great to catch up with her, I missed talking to her and Alex very much. It will be great when they eventually move to Melbourne!

Hawaii: 30th November - 12th December 2007
Aloha! We are finally here in Honolulu Hawaii. It has been an interesting journey, our first family holiday with Lara. We were very blessed that Lara slept the whole way there, yeah! We didn't do much on our first day, we walked around town and settled in our hotel and had an early night. I have to say, I have never seen that many Japanese people in my life! As soon as we arrived, it was just amazing, it is such an relaxing place, everyone is happy and the Hawaiians were just lovely.

Day 3: Bike parade; More and more Hummers in Hawaii! Reed was happy to see them
Day 2: We spent the day at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. It was an amazingly huge place. It was a lot of fun. Our tour guide was "2" (His name is "2"), he was a student from BYU and working as a tour guide to pay off his school fees. We had a very busy day, tour guide 2 get us to every show in all 6 tribes and we still had heaps of things we didn't get to see! We also had a chance to see the Hawaiian temple, which was a blessing. It was really beautiful.

Day 5-6: We arrive at Kauai, this is our first stop at one of the islands. We are on a 7 day cruise to 5 different locations. The cruise is the best way to travel, people make our beds and people cook for you, people perform for you every night. This is great!

Day 5-6: Orchard farm, our very first wet day
Day 7: Arrived at Hilo, very wet, we went to a Hawaii plantation, my goodness, it was not tropical paradise I will tell ya! But we had a great time on the cruise! We watched movies, enjoying 5 star fine dinning experiences.

Raining, raining raining; like our glasses?

Fine dinning is very run for Lara, she looked like a cow boy baby every night.
Day 8: Arrive at Kaui, we went to one of the biggest shopping centre. We picked up the Hawaiian state flower on the way walking there. Doesn't it look cute on Lara?

Day 8: Reed and Lara in a Ferrari together, you can imagine, they were in it for 'awhile'.....
Day 9: Our Relaxing day on the cruise

Day 11: Our day at Maui

Day 12: Pearl harbor, it was truly amazing to be at such a place, to know what had happened and just being there is amazing. We have visited many sites and read the stories of lost ships and souls. It brings comfort to me that we are so safe and hopefully it will never happen again.

Riding with daddy - 29th November 2007

This is the night before we go to Hawaii, we had dinner with mum and Wayne and went to play next door.... on a motorbike! Lara quite enjoyed it (look at her little legs, what a natural, looks like she knew what she is doing!), I know Reed wish it can happen for real!! He has mentioned many times riding with Lara in the backpack. I think it will be a few years til they can ride in a motorbike or dirty bike together!
I can play in the car! -29th November 2007
MMM.... I am a bit of a car cleaning freak. I cannot stand a dirty car (hopefully I don't offend anyone) but I just cannot stand it. It makes me feel really irritated sitting in a dirty, messy car. I remember years ago someone told me that: "To see someone's state of mind, look at their room (house) and inside of their car!!!!" It is so true! Anyway, I was having a panic attack about my state of mind, cause the car needs a clean, I have no choice to let Lara have a play in the car. To my surprise, she quite enjoy it!
