Day 6: 4th June, Benella museum and Benella Lake walk

That day was the only raining day we had on our holiday. We were preparing to go for a walk around the lake. The backpack actually came with a rain shield sort of thing, I had a big laugh when I saw this. She looked like a mini Ned Kelly. We also visited the Benella museum, which was really informative about the Ned Kelly story. I think he is a bit of a tool for what he did. However, all the records were written in the police's point of view none were his or his family's, it is a bit hard to tell what the TRUTH really was.

This sculpture was pretty amazing, a lot of of ceramic artists made this huge thing. We had lunch there and it was really quite an experience

Day 5: 3rd June, Craigs Hut and Sunset at Mt Bulla

Views on the way to Craigs Hut
Views at Craigs Hut
Craigs Hut, this is a duplicate of the original one, built in 1993. The original hut was built by the movie makers who made "The Man fromo Snowy River."

I decided to walk down the montain while Reed drove down and wait for Lara to wake up from her nap. They then walked up to meet me.
Nice smiles =)

This is the near by water fall at the circuit road leaving from Craigs Hut
We had arrived at Bulla and it was quite cold! We were trying some gloves for Lara to wear and the ear warmer is quite cute!

I just have to do it! I made Reed wear these silly hats, because people wear them when they go skiing, it is really quite cool when people ski down the slopes with these hats.
Which one do you like??

Walking up the mountain to see the sunset
Very cold
Nice view - 4pm

All that walking.... the sun set was only 10 minutes. It was worth it though, it was really beautiful. We feel on top of the world being the onlt ones there.

Day 4: 2nd June 2008, Exploring Lake Eildon, more driving

We found this big hill and wanted to climb to the top to see the view. It is a challenge for the both of us, both of us are carrying a baby each! See how steep that is?????? I knew what we did on the holiday will be my last exercises before baby 2 arrives!
Are we there yet??
Marvelous view on the way
And see Kangaroos! Lake Eildon has become the Heaven for Kangaroos.

More lovely views
Family photo

Take a break and take a photo!

This is one of the most amazing views I have ever seen.....

We left our 'evidence' that we were there on top of the hill!

This is down at Lake Eildon now. Lara having a bit of fun on her own....
