Riding with daddy - 29th November 2007

This is the night before we go to Hawaii, we had dinner with mum and Wayne and went to play next door.... on a motorbike! Lara quite enjoyed it (look at her little legs, what a natural, looks like she knew what she is doing!), I know Reed wish it can happen for real!! He has mentioned many times riding with Lara in the backpack. I think it will be a few years til they can ride in a motorbike or dirty bike together!

I can play in the car! -29th November 2007

MMM.... I am a bit of a car cleaning freak. I cannot stand a dirty car (hopefully I don't offend anyone) but I just cannot stand it. It makes me feel really irritated sitting in a dirty, messy car. I remember years ago someone told me that: "To see someone's state of mind, look at their room (house) and inside of their car!!!!" It is so true! Anyway, I was having a panic attack about my state of mind, cause the car needs a clean, I have no choice to let Lara have a play in the car. To my surprise, she quite enjoy it!

Richard Lee's wedding - 28th November 2007

My cousin Richard was married on the 28th November, it was a nice wedding, nice pictures, nice ceremony, fabulous food. It was a great experience with family and taking Lara to her first wedding. It was a long day and a really late night. We had fun, though it took us a few days to get back into Lara's routine. But it was worth it.

Lara first birthday +Reed's 26th - 24th November 2007

Since Lara and Reed's birthdays are so close (2oth and 27th November), since we were in the middle of renovations, to safe time and energy, we decided to have a combine birthday for the both of them on the 24th November 2007. We will have a fun birthday for Lara when she turns 2. We had my family, Reed's family and the Pott's family over. It was great. Reed and I looked Pork schnitzel and pesto/prosciutto chicken for everyone and mum made a fabulous cheese cake for the party. I have to say Lara was a bit terrified when everyone sang (or screamed) happy birthday to her!

BIG SURPRISE!
Reed and I also announced a special surprise that day. WE ARE PREGNANT AGAIN!!We actually found out the very morning because I had been feeling really horrible. Silly me, I thought I have been smelling too much paint! What a surprise!!!!

Sleeping in backpack - 16th November 2007

This is taken during renovations, Lara does like to be by herself so much, so we had to carry her most of the time. It was hard work, we were tired and so did she!

4 wheel driving at toy r us - 13th November 2007

As you do when you first move to a new area, you get a bit bored every now and then. Well, we went to toy r us and have a play on a few baby cars and 4 wheel drives. We had a great time!

Sleeping beauty from Disney? - 3rd November 2007

We went to Jenny's and Madeline had a gorgeous Micky Mouse hat, we let Lara wear it when she was asleep. She looked very peaceful like the sleeping beauty.

Reed's baby suit - 3rd November 2007

Lara is nearly one year old and she can now wear Reed's 26 year old baby suit that says, "I love strawberry". Very good effort to his family for keeping it all these years! This will be a tradition for all our kids to wear it.

Baby backpack - 21st October 2007

Reed and I received the baby backpack from Aimee's friend Rebecca, it was great. We started using it and it is a lot easier than using the sling, even though we loved it, Lara is just getting tooooo heavy to be in the sling. This a shot with her smiling in it. Very cute. =)

Our first beach day at Frankston - 20th October 2007

Lucky us, we are only 2km from the beach, 20 mins away! We all enjoyed it very much, it was actually Lara's first trip to the beach, she is quite intrigue by it all. Picking up sand, having a good look and taste!

Renovations part 1 - 12th October 2007

Let the renovations begin! We pull out all the carpets in the unit and everyone got their knees and started taking the staples of the wooden floor, getting ready for polishing. It is hard work! Thank goodness the unit is small!

We all have to work, so we have to leave Lara in the portable cot. She actually had a great time just looking around! Very proud of her because she doesn't like to by herself all that much.

Red hair Lara - 11th October 2007

This has to be one of my favorite photos of Lara. We were at spotlight shopping for something and Reed came across this big red wig. Lara didn't like it on her head for very long but we did manage to take this photo!

Mmmm..... I wonder what Miss Lara is thinking so intensively at the park. As you can see she has started developing her love for driving, like her daddy.

Reed reckons that when Lara is asleep, her double chin makes her look like Carmen from South Park. What do you think?

Ratatouille Fever - 3rd October 2007

Lara and I went to see Ratatouille at the Mums and Bubs theater, it was a great film! We loved it. We also came home with a souvenir!

Lara with auntys and cousin Anson - 4th October 2007

Lara and I went to visit my cousins Judy and Feng Yu. Feng Yu works overseas and had a opportunity to bring her son Anson to Australia for a break. Anson is actually 4 months younger but they do look the same age huh?
